Right after the tool was released, Devs started rolling out their themes which they designed. To clear things, Live Tile support is still missing, but everything else works. In this guide, we share how you can free download Windows Phone themes, and apply it on your phone.

How to deploy the phone themes

• Download the XAP files from these sources
• Read the Theme Tool Tutorial where you need to Connect your phone via USB and use the tool to deploy.
• Once done you will have a Theme app installed from where you can add tiles to WP Start Screen.

Do note, that this will work till the homebrew tool is maintained, and compatible with the current Windows Phone versions. If either of them gets outdated, it will not work anymore. Also if Microsoft secures the loophole, you will not be able to install these themes.
